東京造形大学彫刻専攻卒業。
その後、カナダに渡り、International Academy of Design in Torontoでファッションを学ぶ。
卒業時、エコノミックディベロップメント賞を受賞。
7年間のカナダ生活を経て帰国。
株式会社イッセイミヤケに入社し日本のファッション業界で働きはじめる。
その後、山ガールブームと共にスポーツアパレルの世界へ入り現在に至る。
東京の自宅スタジオにて制作を続ける。
（主にオリジナルのテキスタイルデザインから作る布製品、手仕事の１点物の作品、
ハチワレハチコという名の猫のイラストなど。）

Yukiko The Witch was born and raised in Iwate, Japan.
Yukiko graduated from Tokyo Zokei University with a major in sculpting.
She then relocated to Canada to study fashion at the International Academy of Design in Toronto.
She was awarded for her work in economic development.
Seven years later, Yukiko returned to Japan to work in the fashion industry, starting with Issey Miyake Inc. and then breaking into the world of sports apparel where she currently holds over a decade of design experience.
Yukiko creates her works in her home studio in Tokyo.(Mainly fabric products made from original textile designs, one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces, and
illustrations of cats named Hachiware Hachiko, etc.)
＜ お話 My story ＞
Yukiko The Witchは小さな北の街で生まれた魔女。
Yukiko the Witch was born in a small northern town.
トキメキという宝物を探しに世界中を旅をした。
She traveled around the world searching for treasures called Magic Thrills.
あらゆる場所はキラキラしたジューシーな色であふれていた。
Everywhere she went was sparkling with juicy colors.
どこの場所にも何か素敵なものは必ずあった。
There was something wonderful in every place!
いい香りのする空気に出会った。
She came across splendidly scented air.
驚くような形をみた。
She saw things of surprising shapes.
天にも登るような忘れられない味、
She tasted both heavenly flavors that she could never forget,
そして甘酸っぱい思い出。
and then sweet and sour memories.
それらは全て宝物になった。
All these things became treasures.
全部を無限サイズの心の記憶冷蔵庫にどんどん詰め込んだ。
And one-by-one, she placed all these treasures into her heart’s infinitely sized fridge of memories.
どんなトキメキも永遠に記憶に残りいつでも解凍可能だった。
All of these exciting experiences will forever remain in memory and can be defrosted anytime..
